According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the following people recently were booked into the Washington County jail on suspicion of new charges or for pending court activity. All are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Thomas Brantner, 63, Eau Claire, Wis., by sheriff (Afton), third-degree DWI, traffic violation; released.
Darnell Cox, 21, no permanent address, by Woodbury police, fifth-degree drug possession, third-degree burglary.
Joseph Fischer, 30, Eau Claire, Wis., by Woodbury police, Scott County warrant for issuing worthless checks.
Charlene Flowers, 28, Woodbury, from Ramsey County, Woodbury warrants for traffic; released.
John Gerst, 38, Woodbury, by Forest Lake police, Woodbury warrant for fifth-degree drug possession.
